| EuroLearn is an educational program of GlobaLinks Learning Abroad and a sister program of AustraLearn, a leader in the field of international education with a 20 year history sending over 20,000 students abroad to partner universities in Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific. EuroLearn offers invaluable and comprehensive support services to students studying abroad in Europe at a lower cost than many other programs. Our strength is derived from quality student support services and close relationships formed with both our partner universities abroad and the home institutions of our participating students. Why choose EuroLearn? We are consistently working to provide students with the best value for their investment while providing superior service and support to every student before departure, during the study abroad term and upon return home. EuroLearn is committed to implementing best practices in the field of international education such as The Forum’s “Standards of Practice” and NAFSA’s Code of Ethics and Marketing Practices. EuroLearn provides essential services for successful integration. Our philosophy and commitment is to adequately educate students on the university, city and country in which they intend to study and prepare them for successful adjustment and integration in the host culture while providing necessary in-country support services throughout their program. EuroLearn meets the academic needs of a broad range of students. We partner with universities in Europe that can accommodate students pursuing a wide variety of majors. Our partner universities offer classes instructed in English so students with little or no proficiency in the language of the host country are welcomed and encouraged to participate. All students are encouraged to pursue language, culture and history classes as part of their academic program. EuroLearn pays attention to the details. We strive for excellence with each student by communicating clearly and often. Our attention to detail assures that the student, parents, and the home institution are well informed and kept up-to-date on the status of applications, emergency issues, billing, etc. Through our affiliate program we are able to compliment and respond to the unique needs, policies, and procedures of our affiliate university partners. EuroLearn takes risk management seriously. We evaluate and adapt our program and services on risk assessment and management in order to minimize risk exposure, protect students from the unexpected and enhance value added service. For the students’ benefit, EuroLearn allows North American students to pay in U.S. Dollars thus allowing us to leverage our expertise and purchasing power in the currency market. EuroLearn also has a comprehensive organizational liability plan. EuroLearn has a detailed emergency response plan. Our official Emergency Response Plan (ERP) is maintained and assessed regularly to ensure its effectiveness in a time of crisis. We remain in contact with students while abroad and provide State Department travel warnings and security alerts via email. Our in-country staff plays a critical role in our ERP as they are available 24 hours a day for emergency support. EuroLearn facilitates reflection and application of the study abroad experience. Upon returning home, program participants receive the EuroLearn Alumni Handbook. This handbook is designed to help students reflect on their overseas experience and help identify future professional and personal pursuits. Students are also invited to join our unique re-entry program called enCompass. |
