  • Approximately 15 million Dutch people travel regularly by bicycle. With flat land and short distances between cities this often proves to be the best way to travel and explore the country. The Netherlands offer special cycling lanes and paths for the enthusiastic cyclists.
  • Museums flourish in the Netherlands, with Amsterdam having more museums per square meter than any other city in the world. Almost every city has a unique and interesting museum for travelers to visit and learn more about history, art, music, science, etc. Some of the museums include: The Anne Frank Home, Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Modern Art Museum, and many more.
  • Flowers are another huge attraction in the Netherlands, so stopping in the flower shops and markets is a must. Hotels and restaurants are often extravagantly decorated with tulips, amaryllis, lilies and hyacinths.
