| GlobaLinks Learning Abroad, formerly known as EuroLearn, offers numerous scholarships to students applying for a semester or year abroad through the GlobaLinks program. Students will be required to fill out a full scholarship application for all GlobaLinks-specific scholarships by the required deadline to be eligible for consideration of an award. An application will be made available to all eligible participants upon acceptance to the GlobaLinks program. All awards are determined by a specific scholarship committee, and all decisions are final. Scholarships are not guaranteed. GlobaLinks Learning Abroad Affiliate University Scholarship GlobaLinks Learning Abroad offers scholarships to semester/year abroad students from affiliate universities. The approximate value for each award is USD $500. To find out if your university is affiliated, please call our office at 1-800-980-0033. GlobaLinks Learning Abroad Student Scholarship GlobaLinks Learning Abroad offers $1,000 in scholarship funds per year to students attending a semester/year abroad program in Europe. Diversity Scholarship To demonstrate our commitment to increasing the ethnic diversity of our participants, we are pleased to offer a new Diversity Scholarship program for students participating on semester/year-long program through GlobaLinks Learning Abroad. The scholarships of $1,500 will be awarded to eligible students of ethnic minority who are willing to share their experience with family, friends, and student colleagues upon their return. California State University System Student Scholarship GlobaLinks Learning Abroad provides $20,000 in scholarships to students from the CSU system. The approximate value of each award is $1,000. To be eligible for this award, in addition to completing the GlobaLinks Learning Abroad scholarship application, you must be from the CSU system, attend a GlobaLinks Learning Abroad semester or year abroad program, and complete an additional essay. In the "Special Scholarship Essay" section of the scholarship application, please address how you plan to become engaged in the host university and community, and the contribution you will make to both during your experience abroad. University of California System Student Scholarship GlobaLinks Learning Abroad provides $20,000 in scholarships to students from the UC system. The approximate value of each award is $1,000. To be eligible for this award, in addition to completing the GlobaLinks Learning Abroad scholarship application, you must be from the UC system, attend a GlobaLinks Learning Abroad semester or year abroad program, and complete an additional essay. In the "Special Scholarship Essay" section of the scholarship application, please address how you plan to become engaged in the host university and community, and the contribution you will make to both during your experience abroad. For Gilman Scholarship Recipients If you are selected as a recipient of a Gilman Scholarship as a participant on a GlobaLinks Learning Abroad semester/year abroad program, GlobaLinks Learning Abroad will award you with an additional $500 scholarship.
