Academics and Assessment All GlobaLinks Learning Abroad, formerly known as EuroLearn, short-term summer programs allow you to earn academic credit with a transcript issued from the overseas university. GlobaLinks requires all participants to gain pre-approval of the coursework taken abroad to determine how the credits will transfer back to their home university. Check the individual program listings for details on how many credits are awarded upon successful completion of the program. Housing All summer programs include housing (accommodation) in the fees. Housing varies from program to program, but typically will be in either on-campus university dormitories or flats (apartments). You can feel certain that GlobaLinks Learning Abroad has ensured that your housing is safe and secure and that you will be satisfied with your program choice. Visa and Passports A valid passport is required for entry into all European countries, and a valid immigration visa must be issued prior to your departure. If you don’t have a passport, apply for one as soon as possible through your local post office. GlobaLinks Learning Abroad will assist you with your visa during the application and enrollment process. Program Fees Program fees are provided on each program profile. Fees typically include housing, course field trips, program orientation, and HTH Worldwide health insurance. Each program is different, so be sure to read the details on the fees section of the program profiles provided. Financial Aid You may be able to use your current financial aid or scholarships you receive at your home university—be sure to check with your university’s financial aid and study abroad offices for their policies. Health Insurance Health insurance is mandatory for all GlobaLinks Learning Abroad participants. Students attending any GlobaLinks program will be covered under the HTH Worldwide policy. GlobaLinks has arranged the “Student Accident and Sickness Insurance” policy for student accident and sickness insurance through HTH Worldwide. Can't find what you're looking for? |
